Hapalua Half Marathon

Hapalua translates to half in Hawaiian — it’s the most popular half marathon in Hawaii. The beautiful course goes through Honolulu, Waikiki, and up and around Diamond Head before finishing in Kapiolani Park — a run through paradise.
There is no time limit and all finishers receive a medal, along with fresh malasadas and shave ice. Race starts as the sun is coming up — at 6 a.m.
Cost to enter, ranges from $68 for U.S. Military and students who register by Jan. 13, up to $110 for Hawaii, USA and Canada residents who register by April 1.
